SHIPPING INFORMATON
Shipping Policies
We are able to ship through all three major carriers depending on your preference: USPS (Priority and Express), UPS (2nd Day Air and Next Day Saver) and FedEx 2-Day. All orders automatically qualify for a minimum of $100 insurance in the unlikely event of a lost package or broken eggs, and additional insurance coverage can be purchased upon request. Shipping can be combined up to 24 eggs per package and will be shipped together once all varieties purchased are available. All orders that qualify for our Free Shipping over $150 promo must ship at the same time with combined shipping, otherwise additional postage fees apply. Live chicks are only available for local pickup.
Packaging
Each egg order is packed in specially designed 6-hole egg foam shippers which helps minimize their damage received in transit. We have been shipping this way for many years and very rarely have reports of breakage, even when there may be significant damage done to the box externally. To keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible we no longer mark our boxes as Live Eggs/Embryos/etc due to USPS implementing an additional $15 fee for boxes marked as 'Live', despite them not providing any additional handling considerations for the cost. Since we only keep specific supplies on hand we are not able to accommodate special packaging requests. Thank you for your understanding!
