After seeing this striking pattern on a number of other popular breeds I sought out a new creation, Columbian Ameraucana! This group produces both Gold and Silver variations of Columbian, which can be bred interchangeably while still maintaining pure colors. The hens lay large-jumbo eggs in the blue and green spectrum, and often! Since this project is still in its F2-F3 generation you may have some non-Ameraucana traits pop up, such as straight/rose combs and non-bearded chicks.
