Chocolate Mottled is one of the newest feather colors in silkies and can be very hard to find. This group consists of Chocolate Mottled roosters over Chocolate Mottled and Black Mottled hens. Chicks hatched from the Black Mottled hens will be sex-linked and can be gendered at hatch! Males will hatch blue or black, while females will hatch Chocolate Mottled and Beige Mottled. Feather types possible include frizzles, sizzles, showgirls (naked neck), satins and frizzled satins. Most, if not all, chicks will hatch with beautiful vaulted skulls. 
 
The eggs sent will be the freshest 6 collected at the time of shipment, so your chick color ratio may vary depending on which hens they were laid by. Not all eggs will be sex-linked (like those laid by chocolate hens) so there is a possibility of hatching chocolate mottled males from this group.
